because it is just intent on being One Of Those Weeks,

Monday was a day off from school and work, so I thought I'd watch something fun and accidentally found a massive trigger instead
Tuesday literally started with my bus breaking down on the highway, followed by an entirely different trigger via an article assigned for class prep, enough that I had to skip the class, followed by a test
- Director and I also went down and had a talk with HR about a mounting concern, which went very well! but on principle, there's no way for that not to be harrowing
Today I actually had a great time at lunch with my department and then hanging out with a very cool new friend, but I also ran into a classmate who told me that our paper was due earlier in the week. Which I had absolutely not turned in, because I thought it was due in class tomorrow. And so I spent the next oh, six hours of work and commute and frantic writing utterly convinced that I would have to turn something in three days late - only for me to reach turnitin and see that no, the damn thing is not due until tomorrow. So I spent the last quarter of the day burning out my adrenal glands just that iota more for nothing. Gotta love academia.
Tomorrow - listen, tomorrow, just let me get to newman club on time. I told Sister Newman that I'd sing. Just let me get through Amazing Grace, and talk to the folks I need to, and then I'll keep my head down.

tonight - I'm giving myself a dinner break. and then back to the books. Let's do this.
