2020 chronicling: haven't seen the sky since monday at the latest. visibility's about a block. AQI's been >200 since the same. got drifts of ash building up in the back yard. eyes haven't stopped running since weds, but anti-irritant drops help. the smoke cover makes things very cold. Wearing a mask whenever I have to go up or downstairs - staircase to basement is a 5 second walk, but outside. Being doubly quarantined for a plague and an environmental debacle is truly uncanny. or crossing the line to farcical, I'm not sure. like, fire thunderstorms are just too much!!

and! this weekend we're gonna do an art-along and I can't wait to finally get creative again. I wanna figure out how to do fake-embossed covers! and I'll be trimming a textblock for the first time since getting a real pressing setup! this volume is gonna be so cute :D and this series is gonna be so cool! but tonight I've gotta just turn my brain off and watch a movie and do some sewing :_D
- gave a 20 minute talk + defense on power relationships and epistemic injustice
- fit an entire workweek's hours into three days
- reviewed the contract situation for our counsel
- ran four meetings in a row in one day
- had a meeting with independent counsel for case support
- wrote three new case studies
- joined an ad hoc response team to a new policy
- on top of all of the regular things in a school/work week
