I've managed some moderate success writing things that are gay if you squint or read into the subtext, but holy god, if I had to write about being lesbian? That word document would still be blank. I avoid the WHOLE f/f fic-writing experience because 1) internalized misogyny sucks and 2) I am a very repressed lesbian.

Boiling it down: this is a whole mood and my commiseration is deep.
